		<description>Good write-up on bullion bars but I would question them being the most popular. Gold bars, in my opinion, are generally for more experienced investors with more resources to spare. But they do have a lower premium due to the fact they&#039;re easier to produce than coins. It really depends on the person&#039;s goals and reasons for their interest in gold. 

If they&#039;re in it from strictly an investment standpoint, then bars are good. But if they&#039;re looking for options in an emergency situation, they will want to consider coins. American Gold Eagles and Canadian Gold Maples come in smaller units - as low as a 1/10 oz - and are easier to trade for things. In this situation, I&#039;d say 90% junk silver is the way to go though.
